The Building Official is responsible for ensuring that building and building improvements in the town meet the current standards set forth in the application code.
This office is responsible for plan review, issuing appropriate/required permits, and performing required inspections of all construction projects (Residential and Commercial) within the jurisdiction of the Town of Signal Mountain. The Town has adopted the 2018 International Codes, the 2017 National Electric Code and the 2012 International Energy Conservation Code.
